September begins the basketball season at Maple Park! This thrilling day-long double elimination tournament includes trophies, medals, snacks and supervision by trained Recreation Leaders. Space is limited to eight teams per age category. Teams will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Pre-Registration is required. All participants are required to have a completed Release of Liability & Indemnity Agreement form on file.

This program is a national NFL Youth Football skills competition for boys and girls. Compete against others in your age group from the local community for the chance to compete regionally at an NFL game. All players will receive a participation certificate provided by the NFL and Pepsi. A copy of a Birth Certificate is required for age verification.

Skaters will be introduced to the following fundamentals: Safety, proper wearing of safety equipment, falling correctly, basic maneuvering, riding ramps, dropping in and a few tricks to get you started. All skaters must provide their own helmet, skateboard, elbow and knee pads. All participants are required to have a completed Release of Liability & Indemnity Agreement form on file.

Due to the popularity of classes, we are now offering regularly scheduled drop by skate classes. All skaters must provide their own helmet, skateboard, elbow and kneepads. A maximum of five participants per class will be accepted. Beginners will learn the proper stance and balance. Intermediates will learn kick turns, dropping in, and how to ollie. INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION IS OFFERED AT A RATE OF $30 PER HOUR PER CHILD. All participants are required to have a completed Release of Liability & Indemnity Agreement form on file.
